A Loving Disclaimer: Our Cancellation & Refund Policy

She-Zen Studio is a small, independently owned business, and every registration truly matters.

When you reserve a spot at a She-Zen experience, your payment doesn't simply pay for the two hours you spend with us. It helps support the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that makes these experiences possible — our website, insurance, licenses, supplies, venues, payment systems, marketing and all the other unglamorous bits of running a small business.

It also helps me continue creating, developing and holding new experiences for our community.

So while I absolutely understand that life happens and plans change, I also need to have clear boundaries around cancellations and refunds so that She-Zen can continue to grow and serve women well.

Here's how it works:

If you need to cancel:

More than 7 days before the event

If you need to cancel more than 7 days before the scheduled start of an event, you may request a refund of your ticket price.

Any payment processing, booking or service fees charged at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email.

7 days or less before the event

Tickets cancelled 7 days or less before an event are non-refundable.

But I don't want your spot to go to waste. If you can't make it, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to another person at no additional charge. Just let She-Zen Studio know before the event and provide the new guest's name and contact information.

A ticket may be transferred once and cannot be transferred after the event has begun.

If you don't show up

If you don't attend an event and haven't arranged a ticket transfer in advance, your ticket is considered used and isn't eligible for a refund or credit.

If She-Zen Studio cancels an event

Sometimes things happen that are outside of our control, or an event simply doesn't come together as planned.

If She-Zen Studio cancels an event, you'll be offered either:

• A full refund of your ticket price, excluding any non-refundable third-party processing or service fees; or

• A transfer of your registration to another She-Zen Studio event of equal value.

If an event is rescheduled and you can't attend the new date, you'll have the same options.

Minimum attendance

Some experiences need a minimum number of women to make the experience viable.

If that minimum isn't reached, She-Zen Studio may cancel or reschedule the event. If that happens, you'll be notified as soon as reasonably possible and offered either a refund of your ticket price or a transfer to another She-Zen Studio event of equal value.

Outdoor events & weather

Some She-Zen experiences happen outdoors because, frankly, sometimes nature is part of the experience.

We will monitor conditions and make reasonable decisions about whether an event can safely proceed.

Ordinary rain, cold or other expected seasonal conditions don't automatically qualify for an individual refund.

If weather or environmental conditions make it unsafe to hold an event and She-Zen Studio needs to cancel or reschedule it, you'll receive the options described above under If She-Zen Studio cancels an event.

Things beyond our control

There may occasionally be circumstances beyond our reasonable control that require us to cancel, postpone or significantly modify an experience — including severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, venue issues or other unforeseen circumstances.

If this happens, we'll communicate with registered guests as soon as reasonably possible and work to provide an appropriate refund, credit or transfer option based on the circumstances.

If an event changes

Sometimes an event needs a little flexibility.

She-Zen Studio reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an experience's location, schedule, activities, facilitators or other details when circumstances require it. We'll make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to registered participants.

How to request a cancellation or transfer

All cancellation and transfer requests should be sent to She-Zen Studio in writing at the email address provided on the website or in your registration confirmation.

The date and time your written request is received will determine which cancellation policy applies.

One last loving boundary

I genuinely want women to feel good about saying yes to a She-Zen experience. Please make sure that the experience and the expense feel right for you before purchasing your ticket.

Once you register, your spot is reserved specifically for you and your payment becomes part of the work of keeping this little studio-in-the-making alive.

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you've had the opportunity to read and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

She-Zen Studio may occasionally make an exception to this policy when circumstances warrant it. An exception made in one situation does not create an obligation to make the same exception in another.
